Rookie boy group Boyfriend was the recent addition to the 'Younger Brother Nation' which has been raising to dominate K-pop not only in Korea, but worldwide! Last month, members Dong Hyun, Min Woo, Young Min, Gwang Min, Hyung Sung, and Jung Min revealed their debut single "Boyfriend" and created a wave of fans, particularly, older women!
With their shy boy charms and cute dancing, Boyfriend introduced a fresh new swagger onto the K-pop music scene. Since their debut, elementary school children have been giving them their full support and had became the major ratio of there fan base. However, that seemed to have changed!
Boyfriend's agency official had stated, "Boyfriend's starting fan base was comprised with children and various ages 20 and under. But somehow, 20+ year old female fans have been increasing in proportion of their fan base."
It's evident that Boyfriend's style has captivated the hearts of their 'noona fans' with the secrets of their charm, which is rare amongst other boy groups. Even though being a rookie, they deliver powerful performances and their dance turns out to be quite popular.
